South Korean Bichon Frise shares the secret behind her perfectly spherical hairstyle

She is a social media sensation, beloved by fans for her adorably fluffy fur that manages to remain perfectly spherical at all times.

And now, the secret to Tori the Bichon's immaculate hairstyle is out.

Tori's owners, from Daegu, South Korea, have shared a video to her Instagram account revealing that the puppy's fur is trimmed with scissors, and the process is a little like pruning a box hedge.

While some dogs may be given a quick once-over with the clippers, cutting Tori's locks is a much more delicate process.

Over two videos, Tori's owners showcase just what goes in to keeping their prized puppy pampered and preened.

After having the majority of the fur across her body trimmed to a short length, the scissors then move onto her famous head of spherical fur.

Slowly and carfeully, ensuring not to cut too much off, Tori's owners begin the process of moulding her huge 'do into a perfect circle.

Moving the scissors around the young pup's head, the process is so delicate that at times it seems like no hair is being cut off.

But the end product is a gorgeous white afro, so large that when she is sleeping she appears like nothing by a giant ball of hair.

With more than 87,000 Instagram followers to show off to, looking smart and fashionable is crucial. 

And that's why in addition to being well-groomed, Tori's owners also keep her well dressed.

From polo shirts and jumpers to even doggy dresses, Tori always looks fresh in a variety of outfits.

And while it may seem like a lot of effort to put in for a pet dog, her throng of fans seemingly love the unique look.
